autoVHC SMART TECH™ Software

To evolve the paper test, we have developed an innovative software solution which is housed on a PDA. The PDA is sent data by our autoVHC® service desk control software. Our autoVHC SMART-TECH™ software then enables the technician to carry out the VHC test entering the data into the PDA. The software allows the technician to enter comments, with no handwriting necessary.

autoVHC® Service desk software

The autoVHC® service desk software allows the garage to carry out all of the managing of the VHC data.

The software enables:

• The test data to be retrieved from the PDA
• Enters the data in to the central autoVHC® server based system
• Allows the adding and costing of parts
• Holds customer, VHC and vehicle information
• Generation of reports
• Analysis of live factual data

Once the tests have been carried out on the PDAs, the data is then transferred to the autoVHC® desktop software and uploaded to the central autoVHC® server . This process is completely automated so you can be sure that there is no human error and that the data entered was the data captured during the technicians VHC test. Any follow-up items are then logged in the system. When the amber items are to be followed up, the service desk advisors are presented with the customer details and what items they are to have checked.

The autoVHC® system is teachable, repeatable, auditable and accountable.
